After receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree, he continued post graduate education in neurology through Life West Chiropractic College at the University of San Francisco. This technique is foundational to Chiropractic and specializes in the science of spinal and postural correction, aiding in the treatment of migraines, disc herniations, spinal stenosis, TMJ, scoliosis, sciatica, carpal tunnel, pain from auto and work accidents…. His specialty in Chiropractic Neurology complements and enhances his DC degree, enabling him to also successfully treat peripheral neuropathy and balance/vertigo/dizziness.

Dr. Hanson is a member of the Washington State Chiropractic Association and the American Chiropractic Neurology Board. His aim is to improve the integrity of the spine, brain and nervous system so that a patient can function as close to 100% as possible; his goal with every patient is to treat the condition at hand, then release once health has improved and the patient is feeling even better than he/she did at the onset of the condition. Dr. Hanson has also done missionary work in the Ukraine with the Christian Chiropractic Association. He has been entrusted to take care of tiny babies to pro athletes to computer tech executives. The office is bright, friendly and professional.

Dr. Hanson has had this private chiropractic neurology practice in downtown Redmond since 1996. His life was changed drastically by chiropractic care.

Dr. Hanson was a junior in high school and doing great as a running back on the football team. Then, without apparent reason, he started to develop headaches that were so intense that he had to shut himself in a room, eliminate all light and sound, and hope he would wake up the next day without it. Playing football was out of the question. The medical doctors merely medicated him. It seemed illogical to cover up the symptoms without discovering or addressing the cause of the problem. The doctors said the headaches would eventually go away, but they got more and more frequent. In his prime, he was missing his opportunity to make a dream a reality. Scared and upset, his hope for being MVP was slipping away. He was devastated.

Then, something happened that changed his life forever. His mother took him to see a chiropractor. The chiropractor did an exam, took some films, and then "adjusted" his spine. The adjustments didn't hurt (he expected they would). He got immediate relief and made MVP the same year! In fact, chiropractic worked so well that he went to chiropractic college himself.

Dr. Hanson loves skiing, playing soccer, weight lifting, working out and spending quality with his wife and kiddies.

He has 6 wonderful children and adjusts them regularly to prevent sickness and maintain wellness.
